In Memory of a Guy

by k jo   Nov 19, 2007

-To anyone: I'm sorry if I didn't get the facts straight...it just rhymes so again I am sorry if those who know who this is about are offended-

This is in memory of a guy,
If I told you I knew him,
That would be a lie,
But he had to leave us, me and them,
It was the last day of summer,
Man, what a bummer,
He went to a party with some friends,
He never knew this was the way it would end,
Had a drink or two,
Talked with people he hardly knew,
The party ended,
Into the crowd he blended,
Drove home a little too fast,
Using up all the gas,
Before he could blink,
Faster than you can think,
He hit a car,
Not knowing who they are,
He died and left us,
Why he had to die, we can only guess,
This is in in memory of a guy,
Who was just too young to die.
