You broke my heart once
and i swore i would never take you back
never was i to love you again

i never thought you'd do something like that
but you did and i crushed me
but still i couldn't let you go

even though you hurt me so bad
i still continued to talk to you
i came back for more

you knew i truly loved you
but you just brushed me off
and believe me that hurt like hell

you continued to give me mixed signals
