You saw the scars, you knew what I'd done.
You dried my tears, didn't let them run.

Right out of depression, you gave me wings;
at my lowest point, you helped me see.
You showed me those feelings I've never felt,
and I remembered what it is to be free.

Free from the pain,

alone all these years.
Finally together,
