I will tell you that I enjoyd the conflicting accounts int his poem: The speaker clearly enjoys seeing and breaking the diet until reality sets in and he/she feels guilty. I enjoyed the stanza involing the strawberry mouse wraped in foil: It sounded delicious in it's simple word choice, but what I found even more different was the image of it being too late for a re-election: A chance to decide over againw aht hsapes out future (even for a moment there) But then you end it with guilt being sweeter already hidden and food can be enjoyed once more. Different but a heck of a lot better than the I can't eat I'm on a diet poems I've read here. |

It's not bad... I believe you had a hard time writing again... well I had writer's block before and it's really hard to write after the 'block' Anyway I think it flowed well, good job. |
It is really well written poem and your wordage was very excellent. I really like this stanza, |

Terribly amusing, though I think you could have been speaking about political processes just as much as diet. Though I suppose if you were speaking about the Diet, it would be a nice double entendre. ;) |
