*** Endless Sleep***

by Madison   May 11, 2004

Slit my wrist,

Slit them deep,

Watch me fall into my endless

sleep.

Where no one can tell just what to

do or say

Peace and happiness fill all the

days

I can be alone, where I won’t be

judged

The screaming of my parents can’t

be heard up above.

The bullying will finally end,

Knowing no one would care,

Because I didn’t have friends

Or if I did, they were never there

So as I take my pills and slit them

deep

As I slowly fall into my endless

sleep

When I was younger and well still now I'll lay awake and pray that I wont wake up in the morning. That i could, like in your poem, to rest for eternally, to finally be free from my dammed life. Reading your poem really touched me.
