Save those being killed

by Catastrophic Beauty   Nov 22, 2007

Sinful thoughts occupy my mind,
Visions confine me in distress.
Regrets I'm trying to leave behind,
Remind me that my life's a mess.

I am engulfed into this cruel life,
Forced to breathe this beastly air.
Wondering if it's worth ingoing strife,
But I know what I'm dealing with is unfair.

Smiles seem to be so fabricated,
Happiness is like gold, rare & adored.
I'm a person who's constantly being hated,
No wonder blood is shed all over the floor.

Maybe if minds weren't as corrupted,
Actions wouldn't be so sinister & cruel.
Innocents lives wouldn't be interrupted,
We'd be able to save those being killed.
