What he said to me made me angry,
But I soon realize he’s not lying,
He tells the truth,
I am the one lying to myself,
Maybe he saw through the fake smile,
I can’t deny it anymore,
Prettying just seems better than reality,
But pretending can only get you so far,
The mirror brings to back to reality.
