The Storm Is Coming!

by Rita Virtanen   Nov 22, 2007

The dark clouds gather upon their evil meeting,
The rain slashes the trees creating an unpleasant greeting,
The Thunder roars loud like the engine of a old car,
The Storm is coming, and it is not very far.

I crash, and I bang pots and pans,
I scream loudly, like an obsessed fan,
I break everything in my way,
If only I could survive another day,

I roar,
I soar,
Something Isn't right,
I feel dumb,
I feel blind,
Like getting ready to fight,

My headache got the best of me,
My brain needs some plumbing,
I need to find a cure very soon,
For the Storm is quickly coming.

Thank you. In fact, about half way through the poem, it actually started storming.
