Reasurance

Head phones bursting,
Listening to her favourite song;
Loving every word it screams;
The lyrics give her the chance to be strong.

Lyrics can give you so much
When your innosence has been taken away;
They can speak your mind when you're to weak
To yell out the words you want to say.

And every line you stop and think
Trying to relate each word to yourself,
It feels good, feels whole,
When you realise these feelings are from someone else.

Because for once someone feels the pain
That you face each day inside,
And the re assurance you're not alone,
You're not the only one who has to fight.

So the song stops and you have tears in your eyes,
You press repeat, and listen to it again,
You sit back and think about the artist
And imagine them crying as they write about their pain.
