Going on

by kaida clover   Nov 22, 2007

Take my hand and you will see
This is easier if done willingly
It is not called pity
It is called sympathy
In this day and age it must be a scare
To find a single person claiming to care
It is just something real people do
I only mean to try and help you
I have been down that road I know where it goes
And it is hard when no one else knows
You start taking a long look at that knife
Pondering ending everything in your life
You start to wonder what is life for?
And you can not find a reason for living anymore
Their no longer there by your side
And the pain swells up inside
But even though things go so wrong
You must find the strength to go on

Aww this is really quite sweet, it flows really well and the choice of vocabulary is excellent! the meaning behind the piece, for me, is very strong, giving another level to this piece...
