After Samhain Party

You laid me down into my bed
and kissed the make up off my face
took off my dress and held my hand
i wished the moment would never end

both drunk and high, it felt surreal
you breathing softly in my ear
Bloc Party playing on i tunes
and i was staring into the unknown

you asked me if i was OK
i said, this is too good to be true
you told me i was looking sad
softly i whispered, "i love you"

then you whispered something in my ear
something i was longing to hear
something i have never heard before
made me feel like i have never felt before

you told me how beautiful i am
and wrapped your arms around my chest
i smiled and slowly closed my eyes
drowned in sleep- i never felt so content
