Oh wow ... this is something I could truly relate with. The power and meaning here just left me ... amazed. It reminds me of that song "Hate that I love you" Sometimes you cannot help who you love and even if they do not turn out to be what you expected, your heart is still occupied by them. I truly loved the last two lines of your last stanza. It was a perfect way to end the poem.

I think I'm definately going to have to favourite this poem. It was so fantastic in every single way, the word choice and the flow were absolutely perfect. "Hell, even the stars lie to me these days..." What a simple line, yet with powerful meaning. I really enjoyed this poem and thought it was excellent, although I wish to understand your intention by putting certain words in [brackets]. Overall, great job though!

This was such a beautiful piece. Honestly I fell for it deeply. The emotions you portrayed were painful and hit my heart. I liked the flow, it didn't go off track at all. I liked the sarcasm you contrasted with sadness it was powerful. "Hell, even the stars lie to me these days..." That line was capturing. I'm not so sure why you have brackets around words. It might be just your little thing but it doesn't effect the poem what so ever.

Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. I can completely (once again) relate. There's a beautiful desperation to it that draws sympathy from the reader, and forces them to be hit with the emotions you're feeling. Very powerful.

I love this poem it so sad but breath taking... the lines

I lOVE this poem.. its amazing.. its such an enjoyable poem to read because of the simple words and flawless flow.. the emotions are strong and the word choice is put together very nicely.. i especially love the last line it ends the poem with perfection
