I'll put on that pretty smile
Clean my room or hang with friends
I'll call that nice guy I met
Use up my whole damn weekend

I'll work until my feet are limp
And I won't once think of you
I'll keep my mind on other things
After all, that's what single girls do

I'll run a couple miles on my street
I'll sing a song every once in a while
I'll hang out with my family a bit
And maybe even crack a smile

I'll watch a nice long movie
I'll even go get a big tattoo
I'll keep thinking things will get better
