Drunk pondering

by selene   Nov 23, 2007

It doesn't matter that i'm drunk
when writing this
it doesn't matter that every phrase
takes approximately 3 minutes to type
and i meant to type 2
but hey man, i...i'm alive
standing beneath the stars
on this cold night
hairs standing tall, and i'm
wondering why my arms are so hairy
and where did i come from?
hey man, i'm...i'm alive
the wind, shiver cold touches my neck
seems to lick me in places
uncovered, untouched by cloth
and don't you know
i meant to look like someone else
i meant to look like anyone else
when you looked at me
but i couldn't hide beneath the stars
how small i am
if you could love like me, if i could love
like everyone in the world, then
we'd see the day i would die
i'm so drunk, i'd save you
but i'm no hero

I actually love this, Janey. Maybe you should keep on with this inebriation ; )
