Melodies And Harmonies

Melodies and harmonies
linger in my mind
they remind me of the old days
so sweet I could find
when hearts were young
and eager to reach out
for someone's affection
and a love that's stout.

Music to my ears
as to the youthful soul
slithers through my hand
to my guitar it gently crawls
candid emotions
set fountain from within
frames of yesterdays exhibit
how delightful they have been.
