HERE LIES MY STRENGTH

I know what you are trying to do,
you have always been so very cruel.
At times i believe you are made of pure evil,
But i will not allow you to make me look a fool.

You believe your torment will make me mad,
you really believe you can push me to the edge.
With your lies and your pathetic little threats,
you really believe you were any kind of dad?

I know you think I'm scared and weak,
But your hate only angers me.
Rage only consumes the tormentor,
now your future indeed looks bleak.

Do you see these scars along my arm?
They are not a sign of defeat.
They do no mean you can break me
I swear you will not drive me back to self harm.

Your sick to think you can use that as a weapon,
poor little girl, she cant hack life.
Just give her a nudge and she'll fall apart,
but my heart will never allow your hate in.

So you can try all you will,
but i will win my victory over you.
I can care for my brother as well as my mum,
I have now learned how to climb this hill.

We will go our separate ways,
We ill follow the light and you the dark.
But you are so consumed by your hate,
your own self destruction has led you astray.

Now it seems your on the path to hell,
you do not have the hope we hold.
And you do not have the faith we feel,
we are invisible from your darkened cell.

For those who strive to live life well,
Shall be wrapped in the strongest of wings.
For there will be a heavens angel,
protecting them from the torments of hell.
