Lost Love

*This poem is about me but a friend actually wrote it for me (xD) *

Every time I close my eyes
I can feel your presence near by
but I know everythings just a memory
Its all over between you and me

Every breath I take in and out
My chest hurts and I just wanna shout
This love that has haunted me for a year
I wanna let it out but find myself in tears

Why, cant I help but think of you?
You've hurt me deep with love untrue
Why cant I just let go of you?
Its just one goodbye and we're all through

You were once the reason my heart beat
But, now your gone and I feel so incomplete
Closing my eyes now all I sense in pain
When ever can I see the daylight again

Its time to move on and I know I should
But I cant seem to let go yet if only I could
Your voice still lingers in every song I hear
Its for you now that I'm shedding these tears...
