Winner at a losing game.

Winner at a losing game.

Sometimes your heart freezes,
leaving you unable to breath.
And, your nose begins to burn,
your eyes forming unknown tears.
Your heart rapidly aches in pain,
and you no longer have control .

Your body shakes irrationally,
and your mind fantasizes reality.
Of which no longer exists.
It left you along with him;
all your fault, I'm aware.
But, for some reason it doesn't matter.

And, things never change.
A controllable problem not fixed,
burning deep inside yourself.
You're a winner at a losing game,
aching to find a way out,
but you're lost within yourself.

Your intentions, they were right.
But, your mind was completely wrong.
You left all you'll ever have behind.
Now, you're aching to be whole -
with only your lonesome self left
and a bottle of vodka half mass.
