Why can't I have blue eyes,
so you'd take a second look?
Why can't I have straight teeth,
or know how to cook?
Why can't I have you,
to hold and touch?
Why can't you tell me you love me,
when I love you so much?
Why won't you see I'm special,
something to keep?
Why do you always find someone else,
and dump me in a heap?
Why can't you say I'm pretty,
or give me a chance?
Why can't you touch me,
or hold my hands?
Why can't you look at me,
when I always look at you?
Why can't you take me,
why can't you do something new?
why can't I have you,
to love and hold?
Why can't we be together,
when my world is cold?
Why don't you trust me,
see me for me?
Why can't you see yourself,
and why can't you see ME?!?!
