What Do You See?

What do you see?
Am I just a pretty face
Or do you look deeper
And know I have a place

Do you see my body
And how good it may look
Or do you look deeper
And see I'm smart as books

Do you know what
I want in this world?
Do you know I want to teach
And help prepare our boys and girls?

Can you see I'm determine?
I do what I put my mind too
Can you see I offer dreams?
Maybe only to a few

Can you see I'm a great friend?
Can you see I'm always there?
Can you see I'm understanding
And will always be there to care?

Can you see I'm loyal?
Do you think you can trust?
Do you see I'm good?
That I don't smoke, drink or cuss

So I will ask again
What do you see?
Just realize I'm unique
And my own me
