Freak Show

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 24, 2007

I don't want or need your words,
Bury them inside,
I'm okay, we're not the same,
Some piece of you has died.

Compassion free, an empty life,
So fake at being strong,
Sacrifice your bitter soul,
To feel like you belong.

I'd rather be invisible,
Than be who I am not,
I'd rather be a loyal friend,
My spirit can't be bought.

Sling your names if you must,
Your hate won't make me stumble,
Karma has a way of serving,
Pie that's oh, so humble.

One day when you're looking back,
Thinking of this freak,
You'll recognize the strength I held,
While you were truly weak.
