Moon Light

by Weeping Wolf   Nov 24, 2007

Moon Light

There is a certain light
The moon casts on the surface,
Giving the grass, a softness to its blades
Giving the ground, sincerity and grace.

I look out the window, music in my mind
The winds rustle leaves to play this night
An orchestra performing in your wake,
A night symbolic, a night of leisure take
Your spheres glowing paler than silver
My heart is warm, yet lonely limbs quiver.

I'll remember this night, for many to come
Not for its happenings, or the love of one
But simply in its glow, that took my breath away
For only moonlight can make me feel this way.
