Envious

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 24, 2007

Confident in her skin,
Fear, there's not a stir,
You've fallen to your envy,
Wishing you were her.

Think of all you'd be,
If you could take her place,
Think of you'll see,
Falling down from grace.

Inside this world there's only one,
Unique and yet connected,
And pain it happens everywhere,
Nothings been perfected.

Behind the doors, inside the mind,
You don't know what's true,
A mask to face the outside world,
Is all you really view.

You never know if what you wish,
Is really what you need,
Until you face what lays inside,
The demons you do feed.

Envy not, what you don't know,
Tend to all you hold,
You never know what you may lose,
Inside another's mold.
