Of greetings and good-byes.

by Teria   Nov 24, 2007

Tonights a night of greetings and good-byes.
As silhouettes cross the walls in shadowy disguise.
Purple, palish pink figures dance about the room-
And, I can tell what you're thinking;
but, darling I'm afraid it's way too soon.

Flowers and peace cause temptations to become feeble.
As miniature frogs hop about earth graceful as an eagle.
Bald heads roam around searching for some clue-
pretending a detective searching for why I love you.

For my love - I say hello, this is our time.
Finally Y ou've came to me; mine all mine.
And [I say] good-bye to my past memories tonight.
And, I've lost so many petty battles -
but tonight I've won this fight.

    I loved the opening stanza I thought it was perfect, thei magery and word choice once again were excellent. "As silhouettes cross the walls in shadowy disguise" absolutely amazing line. Well done 5/5 GG23
