Maybe someday

Thinking about you and me.
Wondering to myself.
If it ever could be.

If it could be something good.
If it could be something special.
This is something i never understood.

If so, why do we hold it back?
Why do we pretend it's not there?
I know its not love that you lack.

Those feelings we have inside.
There ones I've never felt before.
It makes thoughts jump around my mind.

It makes it seem like a silly love.
But i know its one thats real.
Its just as beautiful as a dove.

Maybe this love will be someday.
I will always have hope.
