When we first met
I didn't really know you
I would try to start a conversation but it was like I wasn't there
Your girlfriend kept you busy so you really didn't care
You made me really sad
Because I wanted to get to know you
You seemed really cool
But I just had to wait until your girlfriend wasn't around
I would go to bed crying every night
Because it was like like you didn't like me
When your girlfriend wasn't around you always talked to me
One day I texted you when you were with your girlfriend
She told me off
And it was like you didn't even care
Your cousin's feelings were so hurt
For three days I was so upset
But somehow I just had to forget about it
They way I got over it was writing this poem
This seems to be the only way I could release my feelings
So this is how I got over it
