A Place That's Free

by RawRCooKie   Nov 26, 2007

Lets go somewhere where you can be free,
Follow me behind these trees,
Where Faith, Hope, and Love are there,
A place where people always care,
I look at you, and what do I see, a sorrowful face staring right back at me,
I ask, "Why are you so unhappy?"
The boy looked at me with a tragic but distressed look upon his face,
"I wish my mum and dad were here to witness this most extravagant place."
I asked the boy, "Why aren't your parents here?" He told me that his parents departed from this life and now is in heaven, with relatives who are so near,
But then I told him this extravagant place is gods and your parents are here,
From the sky, an angel comes with the child's parents and they spend the day watching the flowers,
For over hours and hours,
The boy is now in high spirits as his parents give him kisses,
They say they must go for they love him so,
The boy cries all night and day,
Wanting a special and secured place to stay,
After two years the boy gets ill, He dies all alone and afraid,
Wondering how such people can live this way,
Now he knows this is not a dream when he sees kids jumping on cloud trampolines,
No more suffering and pain, no more people driving him insane,
That's all thanks to the person who led him through those trees,
Cause' now he's in a place that's free.
