That I need to realize that you're gone

It's going to take some time

When I dial your number knowning you won't be there
Nothing could compare to this kind of despair

When I go to the places where we spent time together
Just to see if I could feel our forever

Why'd you have to go so far away
Why couldn't you have left some other day

When I didn't need you so badly
I'd take your place, gladly

Here I am trying to blame someone
Knowning that what happened can't be undone

Everything happens for a reason
Everyone has to have a rainy season

Don't want to stay awake
Because it hurts too much to feel my heart break

But don't want to go to sleep cause he'll be there in your dream
And when you wake up with him not there that's when your pain hits the extreme

When I'm looking for you, up in the sky above the sun
That's when I realize the pain hasn't even begun
