Grey

Grey surrounds me,
there's no color to be found,
like you took it all away with you,
and left me here to drown,

drowning in this misery,
please make it disappear,
every hurt, all this agony,
I can't last another year,

My world is fading fast,
my past returns again,
how much more can I take,
when will this ever end?

drowning in my pain,
is a slow and painful death,
my gaping wounded heart,
bleeds out with every breath,

My life is growing weaker,
I'm finally fading fast,
I guess this is the only way,
I can escape my past.
