Again?

So we started talking again,
But I am not sure I can just be your friend.

I care about you so much,
I crumple at the thought of your touch.

You hurt me in the worst of ways,
But I kept thinking about you for days.

One day we just stopped talking,
Then before we knew it away from one another we were walking.

Though you knew I still had feelings for you,
You denied my loved, that was ever so true.

Sooner than I knew it you were dating my best friend,
Needless to say things there crashed to an end.

No longer did I have you,
But she was taken away too.

You both screwed me over the absolute worst,
My heart was in the deep end and about to burst.

I had lost the people that meant the most in my life,
Left to cry and soak up the strife.

I knew that it wouldn't ever last between you two,
She was more like me than you ever knew.

I cringed at the thought of you with a single glance,
But I am a firm believer in giving a second chance.

So we started talking again last night,
And to my amazement not once did we fight.

We layed outside, and looked at the stars above,
And once again I realized I was still in love.

I am not even sure if you could ever see,
But you boy have really got a hold of me!

Maybe you have changed or maybe it's me,
I guess from here we'll just have to wait and see.

I am just afraid of getting hurt again,
Down that depressing road I have already been.
