My Mommy

by Marisa Lishay   May 12, 2004

My mommy,
sweet and kind,
help your daughter stay alive.
wash her sorrows all away,
to come again another day.

my mommy,
bold and dear,
love me,
and always keep me here.

advise me with your wise words,
get me ready for the harsh world.

mommy,
i love you.
keep me here.
don't let me find a way out,
make me work through it.

(this has been my indirect way to say i need help)
