Why We Are The Fallen

by HollywoodSmile   Nov 27, 2007

You think you're surrounded by friends
then you find you're all alone

you thought you had a family
but find out you have no home

then you lie awake
not wanting to go on anymore

watching your soul break
and burning to the core

you long to grab the knife
but find out your too weak

so you sit in this world of misery
your mind so empty and bleak

you wait for the phone to ring
just to hang up on your could-have-been companion

and destroy whats left of your life
because you cant see that you're not yet abandon

so you drive away all hope
due to your ignorance of the light

and you cry yourself to sleep
knowing it will happen again tonight

(to everyone out there who wants to help but is being pushed away; here is why you cant get through)
