Why am i doing this
not telling you how i feel
around you I'm stuck in a dream
to everyone else I'm made of steal

think of it this way
if i have you i have it all
you prove god was listening
because he answered my call

i asked him to send me
someone to make my life worth while
i said "I'm tired of frowning god
send me someone who will make me smile"

and mow my prayers are answered
and all my dreams have come true
but everything means nothing
