Hook Me Up

by Taylor   Nov 27, 2007

My best friend and I, we're inseparable
And we think it's funny because our names are always mentionable
We're crazy idiots, who always fall in love
We don't poke each other, no, we shove
Walking into doors, and just laughing our hearts out
Everyone knows when we're together, there's no doubt
That something is gonna happen, mostly because of she
Oops did I say that? Well it's also because of me
We have all this fun, there's nothing we're afraid of
But there's one thing we can't find: Love

She's the brunette, and I'm the stupid blonde
We almost have the same taste in guys, it relates to our bond
She likes a football player, but I like a dork
Hers is all muscular, but mine needs some pork
We'll keep their names quiet, but we still smile
We'll look back on this poem, and laugh for a while
Her guy won't say anything, he's afraid of taking a chance
But mine is all caught up in some stupid trance
She tells me that he's not worth it, to shut my door
And though her guy is perfect for her, we're all so sure

So what's up with this? They know they're meant to be
So when they get together, what will happen with me?
She has many dreams and fantasies, she's so ecstatic
She tries not to burst out, he leaves her as an addict
I think it's so cute, he should really ask her out
They'd be the perfect couple without a doubt
But my guy is an idiot, he doesn't even see
That the girl who loves him is really me
I need some help with this, because I'm so stuck
Anyone give me advice? Just Hook Me Up!
