Snowy Suicide

by Skie   Nov 28, 2007

Untouched snow and a splatter of blood
The gun in her hand, her breath in the air
Snowflakes fluttering by, her hand on the trigger
Footprints left behind, regrets blown away
The barrel to her head, pull the trigger and its done.

Pistol fallen from the hands of a life gone wrong
Smoke rising in the air, a second splatter touches the snow
Smeared red in the light of the day now dead
Her life torn apart, the memories ripping through her mind
Why did it have to be like this, the thing she wanted her body refused.
