I can only stare

I can only stare
while he talks to her
i pretend i don't see him
so he doesn't know that i still care
i walk pass him slowly
as the girl is twisting her
finger around her hair
shes laughing and smiling
the way he use to make me smile
he laughs back at her gestures
and he watches as i walk away
i turn around but don't know what
to say he looks up at me and
our eyes meet and he smiles
tears build up as i see him hold her
hand just where did we go wrong i used to be his favorite girl the one that he loved
the one that made his dreams come true
but crying wont make him understand
or make him love me too
the girl walks away and he calls my
name we share a moment
but then he turns around and
she smiles again
and i can only stare
