Christmas Time

by SH3S fiNAllY H3R3 l0V3 U N3NA   Nov 28, 2007

Christmas time is coming,
Better get ready for that day.
Time to start buying presents,
Time to make dinner plans.

Parents running around the mall,
Trying to figure what to buy their family.
Kids making decorations at school,
For their Christmas tree at home.

Couples start making dinner plans,
Before it is too late.
Grandmothers making cookies,
Enough for everyone in the family.

Families at home decorate their trees,
That signify a little something of their past year.
Everyone has a great time at doing it,
Not giving a care of what they do.

Christmas is unforgettable,
No matter what age you are.
It is the happiest season of the year,
That everyone will remember the rest of the year.

I like the premise behind the poem, but the flow was a little off for me, a little change here and there to tighten up your lines would help, it was a nice read though, good job and thanks so much for entering it.

I would rework this one too. The point of the poem is good, the flow is weak. But like i said before every one has their own stile.
