I can relate to this poem completely with my parents. They don't understand how much they hurt me and when I turn 18, I'm leaving to live with those who truly care. 5/5

Brilliant! I genuinely loved it, and believe me, I always tell the truth and vote what I REALLY think, which is why I'm voting this a 5/5. I loved it all, the rhythm, the story, the rhymes, the emotion, the depth. I'm sure I missed some things out, but nevertheless, it was great, and I'm going to try and read some more of your work.

P.S. I write 'The Mask' ages ago and after just reading it, I realize I still feel exactly the same way as I did then.

P.P.S. Thanks for your vote and comment, they're always nice to recieve.

The ending is like WOW! That was amazing! It's true that sometimes parents can seem like their not on our side, sometimes, unfortunately, their really not, though I've had the blessing of mine always looking out for me. But this piece describes the opposite side of that fence very well! You have a great talent, and it's nice to find a poet with such skill. I look forward to reading and commenting more of your work!

    **Now your clever little girl,
Is turning into such a mess
She can't remember the last time,
    That she felt happiness

    Forget all of your pride!
    Go hold your daughter, tenderly
You'll regret it in a year or so
    When I'm just a memory.. ***

so much anger.. yet sadness , as if disapointed.. if im not mistaking.
your lastest poems are all surrounded by the same emotions. amplified by the words that just seem to come out from your heart.

    take care
