Always there...

God almighty
why that frown
you can turn the world upside down

walk on water
water into wine
nothing to big
nothing to small
for god almighty
you do it all

crying mother
alone and cold
her daughter has gone
and left her home
you sit by her side
and let her know your there

she kneels by the fire
and bows her head in pray
a day goes by
the daughters gone
a week,
a month,
seems to long
still she sits and prays to you
you listen and see what you can do

a year goes by
a knock on the door
opens up
and on the porch
is the daughter
long since gone
home at last
the mother is strong

that night she sits by the fire
and bows her head in pray
to thank you god
cos you are always there!
