A FALLEN ANGEL'S STORY

by LITTLE MISS FREAKING SUNSHINE   Nov 28, 2007

She fell to earth
Torn her, wings
Her halo's gone
No warmth inside

A disgrace, said he.
He on high.
You cannot be saved
On earth you shall die

Cast her down, did he
Threw her from his embrace.
Pain seared her body
Tears ran down her face

She touches her wings
Torn and broken
Looks to the sky
She has been forsaken

She sits, she cries.
And tries to forget
Until something happened,
The most surprising thing yet.

The Devil held out his hand
And said "I'll fix your wings
If you'll but do me a favor"
Just to do his evil things.

"You must defeat the white wings
For they are not so pure.
God will not help you now,
Of that you can be sure."

So the fallen angel stood,
With wings as black as death.
And slayed every white wing,
Until her very last breath.
