You and me

by dandy   Nov 28, 2007

Hey boy, it's just you and me
when no one else thought we could be
you proved them wrong by loving me,
was blind before you made me see

And there you were just standing out in the cold, dead air.
Outside my heart, with roses red
Couldn't keep my wits about my head,
made me think twice about what my heart had said,
of the truth that I was now aware.

They're still saying that we won't make it,
still saying that we fake it,
that we shouldn't mistake it
that we should break it off.

Everyone is in our lives
telling us otherwise,
that it's all a lie.

Everyone is talkin here
but our love is over there
away from their harsh words.

They can say what like
and think what they please,
but in the end, guess what boy?
It's only you and me.
