I'll Do It

by Taylor   Nov 29, 2007

I'll hold in my judging, just for your sake
Whatever you give, I guess I'll take
I'll keep my mouth shut, for I know she'll find
She'll find out that you're always on my mind
I'll try to be friends with her, but I must let you know
If I don't like her, I will let go
Let go of this situation, and just walk away
Keeping every word in I'm about to say
I see how she treats you, it's still not right
My best friend yells at me with all her might
She says I don't know your girl, and I need to quit
What she doesn't know was that the flame was already lit

I don't know her, but I'm not going to force myself to warm up to her
But I still kind of miss who you really were

You've got new friends, who we've never thought you'd be-friend
But dear God, don't let all of us go through this again
Give me a reason, why I should try to care
Unless I get a reward, or even if it's a dare
I know if I don't do this, everyone will have a fit
Just for your sake, I guess I'll do it
