Your new home

by Nil   Nov 29, 2007

Gravestones line the way
And wilting flowers too
I've walked this way many times
Just to visit you

Stopping at the right one
Engraved in the cold stone
Your name written beautifully
A reflection of what used to be

The sunset reminds me
Of the times we would spend
Watching the sun rise and fall
And the shivers your hands would send

As you gently brushed my hair
Aside from my face
Telling me I was beautiful
As into my eyes you gazed

Sadly memories are all I have
along with this cold stone
So I'll continue to visit you
Since this graveyard is now your home
