Eclipse

by Richard S   Dec 2, 2007

Oceans of time wash over islands of memories.
Sympathetic sands blow into dunes.
Cascades of emotion pool in lagoons of regret.

Warm breezes send healing rain.
Sunny dispositions dry moist hearts.
Clouds can still cover the sun.

Tides of kindness serve to calm stormy seas,
While lonely stars twinkle within vast galaxies,
And one caring gesture can eclipse the blinding sun.
