Save My Beloved Tree

My link to contentment
Lies within my blood
This tree of history soothes my woes
Without request this beautiful line
Purifies my soul
The vines stemming from this majesty
Guide the steps of life
Unison so divine
Family, in this love I trust

Somehow tonight;
Happiness is crumbling beneath
Alas the foundation of my smile
Is slowly breaking apart
Tears of pain sting my face
Alone in the pits of sorrow
I sit with a broken heart

My beloved connections
Give me reason to live
So sadly below midnights moon
I rest unsure of tomorrow
Will we still be together
Or will my angels soon take flight
Dear Lord, hear my prayer tonight

Heavenly Father, I beg of you
Restore my family to brighter days
Open our hearts to forgiveness
Teach us patience and unconditional love
Show us the path to unity
Please Lord; grant us with your grace
Tonight I beg
For your healing embrace

*I need my family and seeing them troubled, troubles me!

    This is such a deep heartfelt write Nat. It shows how much you love and care about your family, the closeness you share and when one is troubled all can feel it. I feel the pain within your words, I too am troubled when my family is troubled as well, so I understand. I do hope that the Lord above hears your prayers and answers them for you.
