Sweet Jane

by silvershoes   Dec 13, 2007

Sweet Jane
Walking through the valley
This time she's walking all alone
She doesn't bend to smell the flowers
She's pointed west; she's headed home
Sweet Jane, oh, sweet Jane
She loves the way the grass melts
They way it brushes her smooth skin
How the wind seems to grab her
No, she doesn't mind giving in
Oh, sweet Jane
Oh, sweet Jane
She's making motion without moving
Shifting patterns once again
Drifting further from the safe course
She fights a current she can't win
Sweet Jane
Oh, sweet Jane
She studies the face in her mirror
Practices smiles that never play
She hopes the future comes soon
Her dreams change day by day
Sweet Jane
Oh, sweet Jane
Oh, sweet, sweet Jane

Jane i love this poem a lot..it's flowing in a flawless way.. tho it's not a love poem but I had this smooching Feeling!

I love the way u repeated Sweet Jane..ir gave this sweet humor for the poem..but still the poem was thought provoking and was wishful !

some expressions were really expressed very well that I was able to see u walking between the grass and bla bla..

I hope the roads she took in life, gave her satisfaction.
sweet jane sweet jane..oh sweet five out of five
