Crying in the darkness,
missing how it use to be.
back when we were together,
back when you still loved me.

Every tears silently falls,
each filled with a broken heart.
i lie there mourning
crying coldly in the dark.

We were happy back then,
or was it all a lie?
i just can't figure it out,
in the darkness i cry.

My heart aches with hurt,
i sadly miss the past.
i should have known better,
nothing ever lasts.

But i miss your love,
i miss holding you tight,
i miss the times we danced,
now i cry alone in the night.

Its too hard to let go,
