Time has come to an end

by argueing with the rain   Dec 14, 2007

A half moon staring down at me. asleep in the green grass. alone in nature, i hear my souls voice. the bugs sing a song i cant understand. animal instincts take hold. living a life that only outcast can map. breathing the air evolution forgot, heaven only wants natural justice. heaven only wants my sacrifice. look at wealth, and every war it created. look at prosperity and breath deep, ingest the fumes of a modern war machine. isolation brought with an oaks symphony, injects everything that is true. man creates destruction, humanity destroys. praise to everything we craft. stunned in the amazement at what a human mind can build. the world burns down, a party is celebrated in the streets. meaning, purpose, our own place. all forgotten in our own ignorance.

"breathing the air evolution forgot" -- beautiful. I found this poem very true.
