My Secret I Hide

Eyes dripping with tears
Flooding the floor
screaming inside
while nobody can hear
It's as if they are deaf
Deaf of my tears
Blinded by my smile
I grin so deeply
Thoughts flow through
my mind
Why can't they see me
I'm full of pain
and terrified of myself
Sometimes I just want to say
Can't you all see I'm so full
of my own pain
I put it on myself
Because I can't get rid of
This secret I hide
Deep down in my heart
It's breaking so slowly
I can't seem to get the words out
My secret you see is
one that will lead me in death
or bring me to life because my
Family will accept me or leave me all alone
you see my secret is
if you haven't already guest
I'm gay
