My Twisted Fantasy

by Brittney Follett   Dec 14, 2007

Chaotic thoughts soar through my tormented mind.
Sinister words scar the delicate white parchment.
My heart silently pleads out for a breath of peace,
But the ghosts that haunt me, will never cease.

Hearing my named called, when all is silent.
Feeling a breath upon my neck when I'm alone.
Seeing eyes that watch me from the darkness.
I'm tasting the danger, but I cannot resist.
I smell his anger, but somehow I tempt him.

You can try to find me, but I'm already lost.
Try to heal my wounds, but they've already scarred.
You can try to save me... but Darlin', I'm already gone.

Stop struggling and let it consume you.
Become a part of My Twisted Fantasy.

    I thought it ended abruptly,e h.
But, it was a good poem with great word choice. (:You surely have talent, my darling. Each line had just the right emotional boundary and syllable count.

But, I must say - there's something missing. I think you could add to it, maybe? I don't know, but it's missing something, darling.

Surely not emotion or a flawless flow. (:
